washington park opened to great fanfare on july 6, 2012. it represents the successful application of $48 million to revitalize the historic over the rhine neighborhood of central cincinnati.

the park's heart is a fountain, which provides an interactive play experience for those wishing to get wet, and musical entertainment for those who choose to stay dry around the perimeter!

the h2oarts musical water feature automation system has been implemented here, and offers an evergreen source of content via its abiltiy to instantly choreograph to random audio. it also enables internet-connected park visitors to choose selections from the neighboring classical music hall of fame, and generate a spontaneous musical show at the fountain.

perhaps the greatest proof of the automation system's power is when a band on the stage played immediately following the official ribbon cutting, and their music created the fountain's first public auto-choreographic performance!
